Weddings at Châteaux Near Paris

While some couples choose to celebrate in the centre of Paris, many weddings take place in the countryside just outside the city. Within an hour of Paris you’ll find historic châteaux, private estates and elegant gardens that offer space, privacy and a different rhythm than the city itself.

Over the years I have photographed and documented celebrations at venues near Paris such as Château Barthélemy, as well as other historic estates in the surrounding region. These locations allow couples to combine the atmosphere of Paris with the quiet elegance of the French countryside.
