As a wedding photographer based in Germany and working across Europe, Chris Spira photographs international weddings with a refined documentary approach rooted in experience and cultural sensitivity.
Over the past fifteen years, she has documented destination and cross-cultural weddings throughout Europe and Asia — working with internationally based couples who bring together different languages, traditions and perspectives. These celebrations often unfold over several days and across multiple locations, requiring not only aesthetic awareness but calm coordination and intuitive presence.

Her work focuses on authentic moments, meaningful connection and a timeless visual language shaped by light, architecture and atmosphere. Whether photographing a château wedding in France, a villa celebration in Thailand or a gathering shaped by multiple cultural traditions, her approach remains consistent: attentive, understated and deeply human.
Now primarily working across Germany and Europe, she continues to accept a limited number of international and destination weddings each year.
